What size ball do I need?
That depends on your height and what exercises you intend to do with the ball. For a complete table indicating proper ball sizing click here.

How do I inflate the ball correctly?
Balls can be inflated with a hand pump, bicycle pump or air compressor.  Balls should only be inflated to 80% of their capacity and left unused for 24 hours. This allows material to stretch properly. 

What exercises can I do with the ball and how do I know if I am doing them correctly?

How do I become a Resist-A-Ball instructor?
Resist-A-Ball offers a variety of workshops and continuing education courses to prepare you to teach others.  These courses are designed for group exercise instructors as well as personal trainers. What does CEC/CEU mean?

CEC – Continuing Education Credits
CEU – Continuing Education Units
Most certifying organizations require instructors to acquire a certain amount of CEC/CEU’s to maintain their certifications.

How much does it cost?

Workshops – if within the early-bird time frame $135, after early-bird $150, on-site $175
Continuing Education courses - $120 prior to the event, on-site $150

What do I wear?

Clothes that you would normally wear to work out are recommended. There is time spent for practical and lecture. During the Level ONE and TWO workshops, around 60 exercises will be covered in the 5 hours.  In the Yoga, Pilates and Prenatal workshops, 30 to 35 poses will be covered.

For the Continuing Education courses; these courses teach a class format so a workout is included with these courses.

 

What do I get for attending?

Each attendee receives a Certificate of Completion as well as Continuing Education Credit Certificate.

Is this a certification?

No! This course is designed to teach each participant proper technique, cueing and many of uses of the ball.

When I register do I get any correspondence from RAB?

You will receive an email confirmation if an email address was given at time of registration.

What if a course is cancelled or if I need to cancel my registration?

Go to www.resistaball.com website and click on “Terms of Use” at the bottom of the page. This will explain the cancellation policy.

Can I get a discount on the program if I have a manual or ball already?

No, balls are provided by the host site and the manuals are included in the price of the course.

I want to register for a course but I don’t see it on the website?

Due to differences in servers a course may not show up or cookies on your computer may be preventing you from viewing the updated course schedule. Click on “tools” at the top of your browser page. Then click on “internet options”, “delete cookies” and “delete files”. This should update your computer to show all classes. This will not harm your computer in any way.
