Become a Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor

Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor Applicants:

Thank you for your interest in applying for the position of Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor. The Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor Team is comprised of expert instructors who have demonstrated fitness industry experience, outstanding dedication and unsurpassed knowledge of the Resist-A-Ball program.

Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Instructor must have completed the Resist-A-Ball, Inc. C.O.R.E. Instructor Level One to apply followed by completing C.O.R.E. Instructor Level Two within the first year of Master Instructor status. *
  • Instructor must hold a college degree in an exercise related field or be certified by both ACE and AFAA.
  • Instructor must submit a resume and if necessary a 15-20 minute video/DVD demonstrating their stability ball skills following the standards and guidelines for Resist-A-Ball training. **
  • Instructor must apprentice with a Resist-A-Ball Master Instructor and gain the approval and recommendation of the mentoring Master Instructor. The instructor must attend C.O.R.E. Workshops and will be responsible for teaching portions of the class. The instructor's presentation, cueing, kinesiology and practical skills will be reviewed and evaluated.  Evaluations will be submitted to the Master Instructor Development Coordinator.
  • Upon successful completion of all criteria, the Master Instructor Development Coordinator will approve Master Instructor status.
  • Instructor must submit a Continuing Education Credit (CEC) provider packet to ACE, AFAA and any other certifying organization that has approved the Resist-A-Ball, Inc. C.O.R.E. Instructor Training Course and be responsible for obtaining final approval by both ACE and AFAA as a CEC provider.
  • Instructor must provide proof of current personal liability insurance.
  • Instructor must provide proof of educational requirements, current certifications and degrees.

* Anyone applying to become a Specialty Master Instructor must complete the Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E Instructor Level ONE Workshop along with the Specialty Workshop they intend to teach. The Specialty Master Instructor must have prior experience and certification in their area of specialty.

** 15-20minute Video/DVD are required from Instructors who have no prior presentation experience.
